1. Who is the Institute for?
It is for those persons providing leadership in the area of
educational technology planning and implementation. Regardless
of your job title, if you provide district level,
central office type technology integration,
planning and/or technical services, then you’ll want
to attend the Institute.
2. Where will the Institute be held?
It will be held at the Virginia Beach Convention
Center.
3. When is the Institute? Sunday February
22, 2009 (at the beginning of the VSTE Conference).
The Conference runs from Noon on February 22nd through February
24th.
4. How much will the ITRT Institute
cost? The registration fee for the Institute is $100.
This includes continental breakfast and sit down lunch, plus
all sessions. Included in the fee is admission to the opening
keynote session for the VSTE Conference. Register for the Institute
AND the VSTE Conference, and receive a special discount on the
later. Registration will open soon for both events.
5. What about lodging? A block
of rooms has been set aside at the Hilton Oceanfront
Virginia Beach for Saturday night. The cost for these
rooms is the same as during the VSTE Conference. Be sure to
identify yourself as a member of the VSTE block. Your use of
the block helps us maintain a low cost for the event. You may
elect to go to any of the Conference hotels (info will be posted
on our Conference web site) and get the same rate on Saturday
night as for the remainder of the Conference. Always be sure
to identify yourself as a member of the VSTE block.
6. How do I register? Registration
will be provided as part of the VSTE Annual State Technology
Conference. Mark your calendars now for this event and look
for the registration in the coming months. We will accept POs,
Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX), or checks.
7. What do I do now? Start
