Gearing Up for Our Summer Events

Posted by VSTE World Headquarters on 07/12 at 04:57 PM

VSTE is pleased to host three regional events this summer and are hoping to see you at at least one of them.  Mobile 21: New Teaching - New Learning conference will be held in two locations.

On Tuesday, July 19, Brian Nichols from Newport News will keynote the conference at Gildersleeve Middle School in Newport News. On Tuesday, July 26, Peter Noonan from Fairfax County will keynote the conference at Riverbend Middle School in Sterling.  Breakout sessions at both events will cover a wide variety of mobile learning topics.

A very special event will take place on Friday, July 22, at Radford University.  Participants will spend the day learning and creating with Matt Dunleavy, assistant professor in the School of Teacher Education and Leadership.  Matt is a leader in using mobile devices for gaming and creating augmented reality and this is a chance to work closely with him.

All events cost $60 and you can view the programs at the Mobile Summer website.
