VSTE is partnering with TEDxAshburn 2012, The Power of Everyone. This very special event will happen on Saturday September 29, 2012 and will feature a selection of leading visionaries and storytellers showcasing their Ideas Worth Spreading, LIVE.
The individuals involved in TEDxAshburn have a passion for life. We believe in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately the world. The theme for TEDxAshburn 2012 expresses the need to work together in successful environments, as we become more and more dependent on each other’s skills. Each of us can make a difference in our community, region and why not, the world.

Calling for Student Presenters
Do you know a student who has a story to tell? Is s/he a powerful speaker? We invite all educators, parents and community members to nominate students who should be considered for a speaking slot at our TEDxAshburn event on September 29, 2012.
The theme for TEDxAshburn is “The Power of Everyone,” promoting collaboration of any kind, in any type of environment. Speakers from any walk of life are encouraged to share ideas related to collaboration. Be creative – how has collaboration helped you learn? How have you contributed to your school or community via a collaborative idea/project? The sky is the limit as to how this theme could be approached.
The event will be broadcast live and we also expect a large number of followers to attend TEDxAshburn virtually. All speeches will be recorded and made available on our TEDxAshburn site as well as on our YouTube channel. Many times, well-crafted TEDx speeches are also broadcast on the TED.com site as well.
