VSTE partners with many organizations and community programs all designed to benefit our membership and Society. Partnerships may involve financial support, program support, endorsements, advertising, conference sponsorships, or member benefits. Organizations and programs that we are proud to partner with include: Virginia's Community of Learning - Visit Virginia’s Community of Learning, where resources for the technology-using educators abound. Created in partnership with the Virginia Department of Education and the Virginia Educational Technology Association (VETA), VSTE provides this growing resource for technology educators around the world. In the Community of Learning (www.virginialearning.org), explore the four main communities: classrooms, technologies, professional development, and resources.   Virginia’s Community of Anytime Knowledge - a partnership between WHRO / Virginia's PBS TeacherLine and the Virginia Society for Technology in Education (VSTE). Designed to bring you the latest and greatest in high quality, on-going, easy-to-access, online, technology integration training, Virginia’s Community of Anytime Knowledge builds on decades of teacher training experience and already features nearly 150 courses from Virginia’s PBS TeacherLine as well as dozens of other locally developed, high need courses and leading edge digital content created just for you. Courses will be offered in units of 5, 10, 15, 30, and 45 hours, all online offering Anytime Knowledge.  International Society of Technology in Education - The Virginia Society for Technology in Education is Virginia's original Affiliate organization for ISTE. Take advantage of this international association that serves the many needs of technology in education. Attend the Annual National Education Commputing Conference (NECC) and receive registration discounts based on your VSTE membership. Partnership for 21st Century Skills - VSTE supports the National Action Agenda Principles articulated by the Partnership for the 21st Century Skills.   MODSIM WORLD is a unique multi-disciplinary International Conference & Exposition for the exchange of modeling & simulation knowledge, research, and technology across industry, government, and academia.       Big Deal Book of Technology - Big Deal Books are resources of resources of interest to various audiences within the education market. VSTE has partnered with the publishers of the Big Deal Book of Technology to provide its members the bi-weekly newsletter which contains selected content from currently available Big Deal editions. Topics include, but are not limited to, Timely Reminders: application deadline notices for particuluar grants and other funding: Fabulous Freebies; classroom supplies, literature, software, and more; Best Site: great web sites including a variety of educational topics and tools. rSchoolToday - rSchoolToday Web Site Portals are template-based School Web site portals that allow teachers, staff, parents, and trusted students to completely create and maintain a very professional-looking, database-driven Web site. VSTE is using rSchoolToday to deliver web content and for all our event registrations.
