Two prominent technology-in-education institutions have joined together to provide a means to expand your knowledge of instructional technology in education. Satisfactorily complete six graduate courses over 3 (fast track) or 6 semesters and receive a Certificate in Instructional Technology. Courses are offered year round. Join a VSTE Cohort
This program is implemented via cohort groups (from 10-15 persons each) who proceed through the program together. No face-to-face meetings are required, but cohort members are encouraged to interact each year at the VSTE Annual Technology in Education Conference (discount registration available). Cohorts can be created for schools, districts, other entities, plus individuals grouped together.
Once participants have been accepted into the VCU Graduate School, VSTE will handle all administrative details of the program including scheduling, finances, and planning. In-state and out-of-state program candidates participate at the same tuition level when enrolled in a VSTE cohort. VCU instructors will teach all courses.
What Does This Means for You
Being part of a VSTE cohort group allows us to customize your Post-Baccalaureate certification program to better meet your needs. Cohort members will work through VCU’s nationally recognized educational program which facilitates a supportive and collaborative environment on a continuous cycle of courses.
