VSTE Teacher and VSTE Leader of the Year Awards

These awards recognize and honor one leader and one teacher who have demonstrated outstanding achievement and leadership in implementing technology to improve education.  Award recipients are selected from a pool of nominations submitted by VSTE members from around Virginia.

Innovative Educator of the Year

This award recognizes innovative teaching practices.  Award recipients are selected from a pool of nominations submitted by VSTE members from around Virginia.

VSTE Hero Award

The Virginia Society for Technology in Education recognizes individuals who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in providing service to the organization and its members. The Hero Award is given when a noteworthy individual is nominated and approved.

VSTE Honors of the Society Award

The Virginia Society for Technology in Education recognizes individuals who have made a significant contribution to educational technology in Virginia. The Honors are awarded when a noteworthy individual is nominated and approved.

ISTE’s Making IT Happen Award is an internationally recognized awards program for educators and leaders in the field of educational technology integration in K–12 schools. The program identifies and rewards educational technology leaders around the world for their commitment and innovation. The program is coordinated by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).
