Purpose

The Finance Committee is responsible for development of proposed Budget documents and continual analysis of the financial health of the organization.

Goals

    • Create and manage VSTE Budget
    • Collective budget efficacy & transparency
    • Meet quarterly
    • Have a focus on ensuring VSTE is committed to giving back to VA teachers
    • Strengthen VSTE's financial profile

Current Work

The committee is currently working on reconciling the budget of the 2022 annual conference and updating the overall organization budget accordingly. The group is also preparing for our February meeting where we’ll update the budget and action plan as well as preparing an update for the board of directors.
