The purpose of the Outreach Committee is to promote the benefits of membership in VSTE to potential members and create, implement, and support membership programs and new opportunities to involve, engage, and retain active society members. The VSTE Outreach Committee has also committed itself to promoting VSTE through social media, specifically through Twitter. The Outreach Committee fits into the mission of VSTE by promoting professional development opportunities and engaging its members in activities that unite them and influence them to be innovators in the field of educational technology.
